GEAR Software Wins Internet Commerce Excellence Award from Digital River
Company's Holiday Offer Honored as "Best Performing Third Party Promotion"
Tequesta, FL (2007-07-05) – GEAR® Software, Inc., a leading developer of CD and DVD recording software, was honored today by e-commerce solution provider Digital River as winner of the 2007 Internet Commerce Excellence (ICE) award for "Best Performing Third Party Promotion" for an online offer run on www.gearsoftware.com during the 2006 winter holiday season.
The promotion, which ran the entire month of December, gave buyers of any GEAR product a free copy of KMT Software's High Impact Email Holiday Edition, a $40 value. The promotion proved to be popular with GEAR customers as GEAR's total revenue in its online stores increased by 62% over the previous month. As winner of the award, GEAR joins a prestigious list of 2007 ICE Award winners that includes software and e-tailing giants BestBuy.com, PCWorld.com, Trend Micro, Uniblue, Allume and Nuance. Accepting the award for GEAR at Digital River's 2007 Spring Sales Summit in Palm Springs, California was Dave Moser, GEAR's e-commerce and web operations manager.
