Hi folks... Like several others, I also found that Symantec/Norton Ghost 9 didn't have an option to backup to CD/DVD
So, I did a clean install of XPSP2, and NSW2005, and the Ghost CD/DVD option was there...
I then installed the rest of my software applications one-by-one
And after installing Paragon's CD Emulator (version 3.00.036), Ghost's CD/DVD option vanished. Likewise, after uninstalling PCDE and rebooting, Ghost's CD/DVD option reappeared
I hope this helps
-Tom
ps. here's the url for PCDE - http://www.cdrom-emulator.com/ |

Hi Randy - here's the extra bit that got my Ghost working:
(It's the last line of "gcdroem.cfg" - "CD-VIP CD-ROM"
[VIRTUAL DRIVE]{RecorderType:VIRTUAL}<gcdrmmc.dll>
VOBID InstantDrive CD
CopystarFANTOM DVDROM
another burning application IMAGEDRIVE2
OBVIOUS DVD-ROM MAGIC 62
Generic DVD-ROM
CD-VIP CD-ROM |
