When creating a DVD-ROM project, if I add files in the normal way and then try to hit the "Cancel" button, this causes GPME to stop responding altogether.
Is this just me, or is there a known issue here please? |

neilwilkes,
I attempted to reproduce your results, but was unable to. Please provide a more detail description of the situation leading up to the freeze. Thanks. |

Matt.
Happy to oblige.
Create new DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO)
Add a couple of long WAV files.
Try to cancel the adding of those files (I added the wrong ones)
GPME froze up - I had to kill with CTRL/ALT/DEL bringing up the task manager, which told me that GPME was not responding.
This is the first time this happened to me. |

neilwilkes,
What is the approximate size of the wave files? Have you tried to load different files and cancel the transfer? Thanks. |

Matt.
Approximately 1.6 Gb each. (They are 24/96 files)
I cannot remember trying to add others at the same time - just trying to stop the loading as I realised that alll 4 would be too much for a single layer project. I didn't want to wait until GPME asked me if I wanted to increase the project size, so tried to cancel the files from loading, and that is when it went fruit shaped.
Odd thing is that I have since tried to recreate this - and also failed.
However, I have backups to get onto disc later, and will try to recreate.
How do I turn on logging, so that if it goes "pop" again I can send you the log.
On another side - is Tom okay?
I've sent him a couple of mails but not got an answer which is unusual.
Hope all is well at GEAR towers! |

Matt,
Appreciated.
I should have found that for myself, methinks.
I will print this off, and try to replicate the crash/Freeze.
As soon as I succeed, I will post the reults for you in this thread - or I can PM them to you directly.
Your Call. |

neilwilkes,
You may wish to email them to support@gearsoftware.com. The log files can be rather long. Just make sure to include in the subject, ATTN: Matt V
Thanks. |

Thanks Matt.
I will try to get this done over the weekend, if not before.
