|

I am using Gear Std 7.03. Both of my recorders show in the recorder Capibilities of being able to write CD-Text but neither will write the text.
I enter the CD-Text, title information, track information but it fails to show after burning.
Thanks |

Questions:
1. What manufacturer/model recorder are you using?
2. What version of GEAR are you using?
You said GEAR Std 7.03, but you've posted in the GEAR CD-RW forum |

What are you using to view the CD-TEXT after burning?
When you insert a commercial AudioCD into the computer, the artist/album/track titles usually come from either Gracenote's CDDB or freedb.org online CD database. This is done by a query sent to the database with the number of tracks and their lengths, which generally only one title will have that specific number of tracks in that specific order and length.
Are you playing the disc in a set-top player that supports CD-TEXT? |
