Windows 7 support Gear Video 8.1

Hello, I am trying to install Gear Video 8.1 on a Windows 7 PC and receiving the error message about only allowed on operating systems greater than windows 2000

Is there anything I can do? I trust that Gear 8.1 is not compatible with Windows 7.

Unfortunately, all versions of GEAR Video has been discontinued.

Perhaps you can run GEAR Video in "compatibility" mode?

Yeah, I thought about that but it is a matter of getting it installed. I can't get it installed to get that far unfortunately. Sad

I think because GEAR Video 8.1 pre-dates Windows 7, the installer does not recognize Windows 7 as a valid operating system, and thus will not install the SW onto it.
