Steve,
Depending on your system resources, it could take a little bit of time to install. Also try this:
Move the GEAR installation program to an empty directory and run the GEAR installation program from there.
Empty the system's temporary directory (C:\Windows\Temp\)
On Win2000 and WinXP, empty the user's temporary directory (C:\Documents and Settings\[user_name]\Local Settings\Temp\) |
