DISK IS NOT ERASEABLE

WHEN I RECORD DATA TO A CD I WOULD LIKE TO OVERWRITE THE DATA OR ERASE THE DATA. THE ERROR MESSAGE I GET IS: DISK IS NOT ERASEABLE

Make sure you have the latest firmware for your writer. Download the latest GEAR driver set from our website, http://www.gearsoftware.com/support/drivers/index.cfm.
Also download the latest configuration files from our Updates page, http://www.gearsoftware.com/updates/updates.cfm. If you have a CD-RW (ReWritable) disc in the writer, go to Recorder| Erase Disc to do either a quick erase or a full erase of the disc. If it is a CD-R (Recordable) disc, then you can only write to it once unless the disc was set with multisession.
