GEAR is in the final stages of testing the new release of GEAR PRO Mastering Edition. As soon as it passes QA, it will be posted for general release
This new release will address, among other issues:
- setting a manual layer-break
- auto-detecting layer-break (formatted in the authoring software)
- setting layer-breaks ~500MB for DDP images (no burning, yet?)
- flagging for CSS using SSCRST 3 (DDP2.00) or 4 (DDP 2.10)
Note:
We have had users report that importing VIDEO_TS content authored in Adobe Encore version 1.5 and 2.0 that have been flagged for CSS in Encore fails. We have determined that Encore adds extraneous data to the beginning of the files rendering the files unusable. This VIDEO_TS content cannot be used to create DDP images.
This 'beta' is now available for all valid/registered GEAR PRO Mastering Edition users using GPME 7.0 and higher. If you would like to download this current build of GEAR PRO Mastering Edition, please send an email request to support@gearsoftware.com requesting the download.
