I have a VOB file on my Windows XP computer. Is it possible to record the VOB file onto a DVD disc to end up with an ordinary DVD disc that will play as a "normal" DVD movie in a stand-alone DVD player?

Please advise...

Thanks.

DDmUSA,

VOB files only make up part of the files that belong in a VIDEO_TS directory for DVD-Video. You would need to use some type of DVD authoring software to covert your files into the proper DVD format, ie. a VIDOE_TS folder with all the correct files. From there, GEAR can burn a DVD-Video project to disc to play in a DVD player.
