Error with files larger than 1 GB

1-GB error does not occur due to an image being larger than 1-GB. In fact the problem occurs when an individual file in an image is larger than 1-GB in size. i.e. you can create an image as large as you like with GEAR and not have a problem, however if any of the individual files in that image are 1-GB or larger then there will be a problem. This bug has been fixed, unfortunately our latest build for HPUX was created prior to this fix being implemented. If this causes any problem for you then please contact support@gearsoftware.com to get the latest version to you as soon as an HPUX build is available.

Because the error occurs during image creation and not during burning, images created outside of gear that contain individual files larger than 1-GB in size should burn correctly using GEAR.
