gear

The GEAR main screen will then appear. There are three sections of this screen:

The version and module name located at the top of the screen. The work area located in the middle of the screen - where the GEAR prompt appears: CD> Status lines that appear at the bottom of the screen. These lines contain important information regarding the status of GEAR and your image.
